Welcome to Likely Story, a woman-owned fiction bookstore. Reading is a way to escape, to feel, to relate, to unwind, to empathize, to understand. All of these things led me to jump head first back into reading.

Daily reading was not enough though, not when there were so many books to discuss and learn about with others. Upon venturing to local bookstores, I realized that THIS was exactly what reading could lead to: community.

Thus, Likely Story began. What started as markets on the weekends suddenly became a need to go one step further. Money was saved and time was spent developing the business, attending local events, growing social medias all in preparation for the biggest goal of all, opening a brick-and-mortar bookstore. In July 2026, that goal will have been achieved.

Likely Story will be a store focused on fiction, incorporating both traditional and independent authors. Amongst these authors, will be different identities, races, ethnicities, backgrounds. The goal of the store is to focus on community and help grow relationships between the store and the surrounding areas… and of course grow the love of reading.
